Nigerian Immigration Service Recruitment 2022 Basic Requirements
1). Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth
2). Candidate must possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in either WASSCE/GCE/NECO or NABTEB. Hence, one of the credits must be English Language.
3). In addition to qualifications above, those applying as tradesmen women must also possess OND/Trade Tcst/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the www.immigrationrecruitment.org.
4). Candidate must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years for non-tradesmen women while tradesmen women must be between the ages of 18 – 26years by 1st June 2022.
5). Candidate must be free of any criminal conviction.
6). You must be medically, physically and psychologically fit
7). Not be less than 1.65 meters and 1.56 meters tall for male and female applicants respectively.
8). You are to print out a slip tagged: Photocard which should be presented at the screening center.
How to Apply for NIS Recruitment 2022
- Visit the recruitment portal https://immigrationrecruitment.org/?p=apply-online
- Login using your username and password.
- Complete the application form,
- Submit it online and print a copy of your Photocard as appropriate..
- Then print and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.
- Ensure you bring with you copies of the Application Form and guarantor forms to the designated state recruitment centers.
When is NIS Recruitment Portal Closing Date

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced a change in the website of its ongoing recruitment scheme and has alerted citizens that application is free.
In advertisement on national newspapers, NIS said the previous website indicated in it previous advert is no longer tenable.

The Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO) Mr Kenneth Udoh disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.
Kenneth said that the earlier portal advertised was no longer in use and not tenable.
“The Service hereby informs the general public that the recruitment portal has been changed to immigrationrecruitment.com.ng which is currently active to make it more accessible to applicants.
The application website for the recruitment is now open and providing a chance for eligible and qualified candidates to apply for various positions in the NIS.
“The Comptroller General, NIS, Mrs Kemi Nanna Nandap, wishes to inform the general public that the recruitment exercise is free and aside the change of portal, all information contained in the public notice for recruitment remains valid,” he said.
